Crazy Vocals and Vintage Raleighs

So I wrote this epic bridge for the song I'm working on. It's at the 1:52 mark of the video. I've been learning a TON about this particular recording software (Tracktion) and am pretty impressed with it, especially since my Mbox (which I hardly used) seems to have kicked the bucket. Listening to the separate tracks again I was reminded of how the song began. A couple of weeks ago I pulled all the muscles in my forearms lifting furniture. My right wrist was in too much pain to play the piano so I started hammering out whatever I could with the left. The major 2nds in the first part are my thumb striking two notes at once. Going through this reminded me that I can still make music when my arms are out of commission (in case you didn't know I have really tiny wrists and arms that seem to be easily injured).

Aside from the mixing, today I took apart the headset of an old bike and cleaned out some really REALLY sticky ball bearings. Steve showed me how. The bike is a Raleigh sport and probably from the early 70s. I found it at a thrift store and I love it but will sell it because it's really way to small for me. If you are in the victoria area and are looking for a vintage cruiser let me know.
