Both my sibling and I had attention "issues" as kids. I used to drift into a daydream to the point that you could be waving your hand in front of my face and yelling my name and I wouldn't come out of it. I think this was a coping mechanism for boredom and stress. In any case my sis and I are both extremely artistic people, blessed with giant imaginations. I'm so greatful that our parents resisted diagnoses from lazy teachers and quacks.
