500 Canadian women are missing or murdered in the past 30 years, the majority being first nations. The Vancouver Police turned a blind eye to disappearance of women living on the Lower East side so much as to allow 61 women to vanish from the area in the span of 20 years. Today is an annual remembrance for these cherished mothers, sisters, and daughters. We morn the loss and we call for justice.
