Plagiarism

So it was discovered that some person in NYC sold a work copied off my sister's for a thousand dollars. Not only that but this person is currently selling prints as well. It's not the first time someone has ripped her off but it stings knowing that she currently struggles to get by. I suggested that she take her art off the internet and put it on a wall somewhere. There is currently a shiteous "pop art" display at my neighbourhood coffee shop featuring a glitter covered canvas of Bob Saget. It's so awful I want to set it on fire. I sincerely hope my sis gets her show on the road. She was offered a spot at a local gallery recently and I hope she takes it up.

And what about me? I haven't had a lot of time for making music lately but have been practicing up for a little bit of gigging come spring. Will most likely be playing around the Island. Maybe next time I'll venture further :)
